Radium Escape at Central Park
Radium Escape at Central Park is the first socially responsible Purpose Built Rental project in both Radium Hot Springs and the Columbia Valley! The four townhome development is being built on commercial land that has sat empty for over 30 years, with architectural features meant to complent the new Radium Hot Springs Community Centre and the surrounding mountain vistas. We recognize that the erosion of available long term housing, parking constraints, and noise issues are the greatest concerns surrounding home rentals in vacation destinations, so every aspect of our project has been specifically designed with a clear committment to our community and our neighbors!
By choosing to build on vacant commercial land, Radium Escape is taking the first steps towards reducing the unchecked proliferation of existing family homes in established residential areas which are being transformed into vacation rentals. This destruction of local long term rental markets is a real and growing concern, which is why we believe so strongly that the only ethical approach is for accommodators to build new constructions on commercially zoned land.
Radium Escape at Central Park will be a local accommodation industry leader in the prevention and mitigation of noise issues. We are the first Columbia Valley accommodation development of any kind to feature a comprehensive noise management system, which includes a combination of high decibel sensors, exterior security cameras, and uniformed patrols performed by a professional security company.
